Millionaire Cop and the Mom-to-Be

Release date: August of 2002, this (Romantic Times- Rated) 4 star book is Charlotte's debut for Silhouette Desire. Many of her romance fans remember Charlotte as one of their favorites when she wrote for Bantam Loveswept. The more modern category romances she writes for Desire are sure to please.

The Story:

When a pregnant Katie Jones is left at the alter by her fiancé, she has no choice but to accept Detective Neil Logan’s marriage proposal. After all, Katie knows what it’s like to grow up illegitimate and doesn’t want her child to suffer the same cruelties she was forced to endure. But Neil and Katie have a past. Orphaned at a young age, Neil’s wealthy parents took her in and raised her as their own, and Neil became the very bane of Katie’s existence. Now the two must live beneath one roof, at least until the baby is born, which won’t be easy for two people who’ve never been able to stay in the same room together for long without turning it into a fighting match.

Neither of them count on finding themselves attracted to one another, and the last thing they expect is to fall in love.
